About Plan ₿ Academy

Most people will spend their entire lives earning, saving, spending, investing, borrowing, paying taxes, and making financial decisions, yet few are ever taught what money is or how it works.

Plan ₿ Academy was created to change that.

Unlike many financial literacy programs that focus primarily on budgeting, spending, and investing, Plan ₿ Academy begins with the foundations. Students explore value, trade, money, banking, inflation, investing, entrepreneurship, retirement, scams, and emerging technologies such as Bitcoin and crypto. By understanding the principles that govern money and markets, students gain the tools to evaluate financial decisions for themselves.

We believe education should develop critical thinking rather than prescribe conclusions. Our goal is not to tell students what to think, but to help them ask better questions, examine evidence, and understand competing ideas.

The ₿ in our name reflects one of the most significant monetary innovations of the modern era. Whether students ultimately embrace Bitcoin or not, understanding it is an important part of understanding the ongoing evolution of money.

Dewain Clark

Dewain is a professional educator, mentor, curriculum developer, and homeschool parent who has spent years working with students, teachers, and schools in STEAM and innovation education. After seeing how little formal education is devoted to understanding money, banking, investing, and economics, he created Plan ₿ Academy to help students develop a deeper understanding of the financial world around them.
